Please join FPSR in welcoming Kathleen Winkert, PA. 

 

Kathleen (Kiki) Winkert, PA-C was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended James Madison University where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Health Science. Before PA school, she had the opportunity to work as a medical assistant in pediatrics and orthopedic medicine. She attended Mary Baldwin University for her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies where she served as her program’s Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants student representative.

Kiki’s passion for holistic care has driven her to a career in family medicine. She believes that effective patient-centered care begins with actively listening to her patients and understanding their concerns, values, and goals. By fostering a strong provider-patient relationship built on trust and respect, she collaborates with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual lifestyles.

Her clinical interests and experiences include nutrition, exercise, and office-based procedures. Kiki especially enjoyed her time training in aesthetic medicine learning the practice of injectables. She is dedicated to staying up to date on all the ways science can make her patients feel their best inside and out.

Outside of medicine, Kiki enjoys running and exercise classes, visiting new restaurants and going to the movies with her family and friends. So far, she has loved experiencing all Richmond has to offer. Find her on Saturdays at the local farmers market!
