FPSR is excited to announce that Chris Foca, PA has joined our team. Chris received his B.S. in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University in May 2000 and his Masters in Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2002. He was the Director of Procurement and Administrative Services at the Department of Medical Assistance Services for many years. Since childhood, Chris wanted to be in healthcare and during his time at DMAS, Chris says “he felt pulled to serve others and help them take the next step on their healthcare journey.” After much deliberation, he decided to go back to school and become a physician assistant.
Chris landed at Elizabethtown College for his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies, finishing in August 2024. When asked what made him decide to start over when he was already in a successful career, Chris explained that he really enjoys the one-on-one conversations and relationships and has the desire to understand each person and their unique story. FPSR is very fortunate to have him as part of our healthcare team.
Chris is married and lives in Chesterfield with his 3 children. When he is not working, he loves being outdoors, hiking the James River, playing golf, and cooking for his family. Please join us in welcoming him to the practice.
