Please join us in welcoming Jessica Aseng, PA. Jessica is thrilled to join the dedicated team of providers at FPSR and to begin her career serving the Richmond/Midlothian community. Having recently graduated in March from South University with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies, she is eager to apply her fresh knowledge and enthusiasm to patient care.
Before pursuing her PA education, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Her commitment to healthcare was further solidified through diverse experiences as a medical scribe, EMT, and ER technician, providing her with a strong foundation in patient interaction and medical environments.
Jessica is deeply passionate about family medicine, especially the opportunity to build relationships by talking with her patients and emphasizing the importance of preventative medicine. She believes strongly in a collaborative, patient-centered approach, ensuring that individuals are active participants in their healthcare decisions. While she enjoys all aspects of family practice, Jessica has a special interest in women’s health.
Originally from the Poconos, Pennsylvania, Jessica moved to Richmond two years ago and has quickly fallen in love with the vibrant environment and welcoming community. When she is not working, she enjoys playing soccer, staying active, spending quality time with her two cats, and being with her family. Jessica is excited to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to patients from teens through adulthood. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
As we welcome Jessica, we have to say goodbye to Maddie Coppock. Maddie has accepted a position that will allow her to have more time with her babies. Maddie’s last day at FPSR is August 8, 2025. We are all sad to see her go, but are thrilled to have Jessica to take excellent care of our patients.
